Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional & Financial Consultant responsible for implementation, configuration, and support of ERP solutions using Odoo.

This role requires strong expertise in both business processes and financial systems, including accounting configurations, financial reporting, and compliance. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional Odoo solutions
• Implement and configure Odoo modules including Sales, CRM, Accounting, HR, Inventory, POS, and Manufacturing
• Customize workflows, forms, and reports based on business needs

🔹 Financial Responsibilities

• Configure and manage the Odoo Accounting module (Chart of Accounts, journals, taxes)
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Set up invoicing, billing, and reconciliation workflows
• Generate and validate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within the system

Functional Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation: business process mapping, gap analysis, and test scenarios
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve functional issues
• Train end users and ensure smooth system adoption
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot system-related issues
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations
• Maintain and upgrade existing Odoo implementations

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• OR
• CA Inter / equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting module is mandatory

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial workflows
• Expertise in multiple Odoo modules, especially Accounting
• Ability to handle end-to-end implementation tasks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
